*** The Deadline is Approaching *** The Hampton Roads Chapter of the National Technical Association (NTA) is proud to offer its annual scholarship to deserving students in the Hampton Roads (VA) area. The scholarship is open to underrepresented minority high school seniors who intend to pursue a bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) at any accredited college or university during the upcoming year. The scholarship is a one-time, non-renewable award, and at least one $500.00 scholarship is awarded each year. Applicants must be residents of Gloucester County, Mathews County, James City County, York County, Isle of Wight County, Northampton County, Southampton County, Surry County, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Poquoson, Suffolk, or Williamsburg. Please forward the attached scholarship application to a deserving, underrepresented high school senior in the Hampton Roads area (VA) who intends to pursue a STEM degree in the coming year.
