Howard University Accepted Student Day will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017,
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Students accepted to the University will learn about the
academic program, tour the campus and residence halls, and experience campus
life. The Office of Admissions invites alumni to assist with students, answer
questions, and manage the reception table. To volunteer, email Khadijah

University Row: A Day at the Races

The Department of Alumni Relations and Howard University Alumni Association
Region II are pleased to once again participate in University Row. The event
will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, in Great Meadow, Virginia. Howard will
be an Anchor Tent! That means we need your support to volunteer and sell
tickets to this awesome event. This is our 4th year participating and the
University Row Steering Committee (URSC) is excited to have us join them for
the 19th Annual University Row at the Virginia Gold Cup!
Tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 27th at Noon. Ticket prices start at
about $125 for entrance to The Row. The URSC will provide bus transportation
from spots in VA and DC for an additional cost. If you choose to drive, there
is an additional cost to pay for parking. For more information, visit the

Howard University announced

today in partnership with Google the launch of Howard West, a three-month,
summer Computer Science residency for rising juniors and seniors in the
University’s Computer Science program. The residency includes a dedicated
workspace on Google’s Mountain View campus and a generous stipend to cover
housing and other expenses in Silicon Valley. Click below to read The
