Greetings,
It is a pleasure to serve you as the current NTA National President. I am committed to move the NTA mission forward through increase support of local chapters. Together as a network, we can enhance the NTA visibility and status in the technical community, locally and nationally. The founders of NTA were architects, engineers, entrepreneurs, inventors, educators and government/corporate managers who initiated this vision.
The organization was formed because :
"At the present time, economic considerations seem to be uppermost in the minds of the ruling classes of the world....If through force of circumstance, a group must maintain its racial identity, it will be only through effective mass organization directed by the most efficient apostles of applied science that that group will be able to maintain its place in the sun. The other alternative is commericial and economic servitude..." 1926
This quote remains true. NTA can play a lead role in the nation's renewed enthusiasm in the development of technical talent. Many of you already are working members of NTA local chapters. I ask that those of you have not joined NTA at the national level do so. You who have been members, please renew your membership for the new fiscal that began October 1, 2009. Please use the attached form to update your membership information so that NTA can keep you informed and apprised of opportunities to help realize the vision.
