I certainly have an early winter down here! We are freezing even with the
wood stove and heat pump on full power.
Pine Siskins have been on my feeder for several days but it took me awhile
to understand what they are. Va-Bird list serve is reporting them up and
down the state in large numbers. Also the red-breasted nuthatches. Yesterday
we had a record 25 pelicans fly up the Ware River.
