Here on Nomini Creek and the surrounding defunct golf course, we are enjoying
white-throated sparrows, juncos (finally), blue jays, bluebirds, buffleheads, a
few loons, and wood ducks who are residing on a pond in the golf course,
towhees and hermit thrush. Also saw 5 flickers on the ground hanging out, and a
few yellow-bellied sapsuckers, and how could I forget the kinglets!!!!! Both
ruby and yellow-crowned [😉]

Have 10 or 12 here in central King and Queen this morning. I’ve seen them 2 or
3 at a time for about two weeks; sorry to have neglected to report. I also have
white throated sparrows and song sparrows.

Happy Thanksgiving week all - just to report that I saw my first
definitely-a-junco this morning in Richmond County. It might have been here a
bit sooner, pretending to be a titmouse. :-) The white throated sparrows have
been back a couple of weeks now. How are things elsewhere? Cheers, Jami
