& sisters: Hope you are enjoying this nice weather. Division secretary, Prof.
Jennifer Chiaramonti, informed me that she has received about 12 inquiries
regarding our Fall conference. I have received about 11 inquiries just this
week. It is our conviction that these would turn into registered participants.
Please do all you can to distribute the conference brochure to all
contacts/colleagues and friends. At my job, a few colleagues, both faculty
and professional staff, indicated that they would support us by registering
asap. Also, one temporary faculty member at my office paid for two students to
attend our conference. His name is John Grady, a former student of mine.
Simply awesome! Thanks to Nancy Benz, the brochure is being displayed on
different areas of the NJCA webpage which may help with our registration
efforts. Connie Ducaine, NJCA president, has authorized more time to get all
the 45 professionals we need to cover our costs. Instead of the dateline to
cancel the conference to be 10/1/16, the new dateline is 10/26/2016. Every
call, every email counts. Your help is imperative to meet this goal. I
encourage and celebrate your efforts on behalf of our division. IN UNITY, WE
