Hi Everyone!
Andy just informed me that he was successful in getting a grant through UNH
Cooperative Extension (internal grant funded by private donors) to support the
Baseline Prescribed Fire Activity project that the Rx Council has discussed and
developed.
The grant will cover a student intern to work for 320 hours over ten weeks this
summer to collect and synthesize data about prescribed fire in NH.
This position will require support and oversight from the Council members.
Come prepared to discuss this at the next meeting.
