NATIONAL CHILDREN'S FOLKSONG REPOSITORY
http://www.edu-cyberpg.com/NCFR/

An historic electronic online archive of children's folk songs. A public
folklore project built by the children of the United States and territories.
Children pick up the Phone to call and SING OR CHANT their song
finding it magically turned into a mp3 file. Children are our unknown
culture makers and they get to record and save their songs, then submit
them into the database so that they can hear themselves on the net.
They collect history, and they make history at the same time.
Internet and technology allows them to record their personal knowledge.
Children are our unknown culture makers get to make mp3 files
using a telephone or a computer to save their songs, then submit them
into the NCFR online library.

To find out how to increase women's participation in math and science,
don't ask a guy at the top of the academic and social hierarchy. Ask

leave the profession.

The number of teachers leaving the profession is exceeding the number of
teachers entering the profession by 23%, and turnover in the teaching
profession is 32% higher than it is in non-teaching professions.
