Caribbean

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to invite you to participate in a live webcast
tomorrow, Tuesday, April 29th at 12:00 noon EDT (New York time).

The World Education Market (WEM) joins LearningTimes in hosting
tomorrow's free program, "Education Perspectives from Europe, the US
and the Caribbean". The event features high-profile WEM conference
speakers who will tackle contrasting education perspectives from
Norway, the US and the Dominican Republic.

Participating in the discussion will be Michael Jay, President of
Educational Systemics (USA), Pedro Dajer, Vice Minister of Education
in charge of IT and Information Systems Area for the Ministry of
Education (DOMINICAN REPUBLIC) and Ingeborg Boe, Vice-President of
the European Distance Education Network and Executive Director of
the Norvegian Association for Distance Education (NORWAY). Co-
hosting with me will be Farimah Schuerman, Principal of
KnowledgeQuest Education Group and LearningTimes Editorial Board
member.

Mr. Jay, joining us from the USA, Mr. Dajer, from the Dominican
Republic, and Ms. Boe, from Norway, will take your questions live
about standard adoptions and interoperability frameworks, education
reforms and distance education in primary, secondary and post-
secondary education. Elaine Legault, Director of WEM, will update
you on the latest WEM news.

Participants in the webcast will have the opportunity to submit
questions and comments for the panel, and network with each other
while logged into the LearningTimes community area. Recordings of
the live program will be made available in the community area
shortly after each event.
