Subject: [WWWEDU] Social Studies forum reminder

This week's Social Studies forum is full of interesting African-American
history resources, including an investigation of resources related to
the upcoming HBO documentary, "Unchained Memories:  Readings From the
Slave Narratives".  The forum session starts at 8 p.m. Eastern (5 p.m.
Pacific) time Wednesday, in TAPPED IN (http://www.tappedin.org).

Joining us for this important session will be Jackie Glover, who
produced the HBO documentary.  Leni Donlan of the Library of Congress
Learning Page will also be onhand to demonstrate various resources for
African-American history available at the Learning Page and American
Memory, and Neepa Shah from TIME Classroom will show session
participants downloadable resources to use with the documentary.
