From: BJ Berquist <berquist@xxxxxx>

After School Online (ASO) is a forum for educators.  The scheduled
events, designed for professional development, are open to everyone in
the TAPPED IN community and all guests.

This week's featured events for ESL/EFL teachers and learners include
the Saturday and Sunday WebHeads and a Sunday EuroLang discussion on
using Viv@, a virtual interactive village. Monday starts the school week
with the Technology in the Classroom's Donna Hendry showing you weather
related resources. Monday also features Keiko Schneider's 30th
Benkyoukai with guest Tetsuo Harada and the National Board Certification
Group led by Gayle Britt. Tuesday brings the K-3 Resources discussion
group led by Christina Wilder and Sue Roseman and the Middle Grades
(4-8) Science group led by Jan Naher. Wednesday is Kim Foley's tutorial
for Tourmaker and Bernie Dodge will discuss WebQuests for Teaching About
a Place. Michael Hutchison's Social Studies Forum features special guest
Joy Hakam, author of "Freedom: A History of US." (please note the
special starting time for this event.) Thursday, Linda Ullah continues
the discussion on Global Project Based Learning. Go to the url below
each event for descriptions of the individual events.

Don't forget the tours and tips sessions if you're new to TAPPED IN or
if you want to find out how to get an archived transcript from an event
that you missed because of a time zone conflict or a busy  schedule.
There are tours scheduled to fit most time zones. Print out this weekly
schedule as a quick reference to what's happening.

Login at http://www.tappedin.org. If you are new to TAPPED IN, please
login 10 minutes before the ASO event is scheduled to begin.  This will
allow the helpdesk volunteers to get you where you need to be.
