Chad, Please delete me from you list. Due to medical reasons I had to retire. , Thank You, Vince Sollimo a message dated 4/8/2008 4:08:06 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, kwbrody@xxxxxxx writes: The Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance is working with the Jackson Laboratories and the Concord Consortium to develop some software modules aimed at helping high school students gain experience with bioinformatics concepts and scientific datasets. We are seeking a handful of teachers in Massachusetts and Maine to act as piloters for a preliminary version of this pilot in spring. My question to you is two-fold: 1) Would it possible to include a brief call for interested teachers in an upcoming issue of the Masthead newsletter, and if so, when would the next issue and deadlines be? 2) Do you have information about placing a similar notice on the MAST listserv? We are hoping to train teachers in this software in the next months, so that they can pilot its use with classes in late spring of this year. This would be ideal for AP teachers looking for appropriate level work for their students following the exam in May. Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request.
