The Crambus is Crambus agitatellus. Remember that the records on BAMONA and BG are user submitted as are most of what's on MPG so the distribution maps on those sites are very much incomplete. Odds are good that all of these moths have multiple scientific records in SC. Having said that, it's always fun to get the first for your state on the various online sites. :) Ken Childs Henderson, TN Chester County http://tinyurl.com/FinishFlagFarmsMoths http://www.finishflagfarms.com ________________________________ From: Doug Allen <dougk4ly@xxxxxxxxx> To: ncsc-moths@xxxxxxxxxxxxx; Jean Fontaine <eepa45@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, June 27, 2013 1:38 PM Subject: [ncsc-moths] SC new species and 2nd records Last week Kyle showed us his most beautiful mid-June species. Mine is the 1047.1 Suzukis. Two of the following seem to be 2nd records for SC and two others (more difficult ones to identify) could possibly be new SC records if identified correctly. What do you think? Doug Allen Inman, SC
