Your Pero honestaria is probably P. ancetaria. P. honestaria doesn't have the spot near the middle of the forewing outer margin. Some of the plates of living specimens of these species have been mixed up for awhile. Bob Patterson has been notified and is looking into the matter. The pinned specimen plates are all correct. This gives me a chance to ID & share some moth photos with you all. There are two unknowns in here; would appreciate some help. The first unknown could be 10962 – Xestia perquiritata, or it may not be. Jackie Nelson NW N.Carolina, S. Appalachians
