Is your /boot directory on one of the mirrors? As I recall neither GRUB nor
Lilo can read straight from RAID. Depending on your partition scheme and RAID
type, you should be able to specify the 'real' partition holding the RAID
partition and get it to work.
IE:
/dev/md0 = /dev/hda1 + /dev/hdb1
Instead of looking for /dev/md0/boot you look for /dev/hda1/boot
-OR- simply make a non-RAID partition your /boot.
