It's time again for the funnest day in amateur radio -- Field Day!!
At Dick (AF4TX) and Mary Metsker's lakeside retreat (see
www.nashvillerats.org for maps), we'll set up starting at 9 a.m., this Saturday 6/24.
Operation starts at 1 p.m.; grilled hamburgers and fixin's served around 6 p.m. (bring a side dish or dessert if you can).
Bring a chair and bug spray to enjoy the scenery away from the radios. Headphones, adaptors, and your favorite CW key can be handy, too. Bring $5 for dinner; canned sodas are only 50 cents each.
