Hi,
Do ZeroMQ and nanomsg use the same wire protocol? Are they compatible
in any way (without a gateway)? Thus is nanomsg only a refined
implementation of ZeroMQ protocols or is nanomsg really using different
wire protocol?
No, nanomsg is not a refined ZeroMQ implementation (even though it started
as one). If you glance at the transport and/or protocol RFCs you will quickly
realize
that nanomsg and ZeroMQ cannot be compatible (at least the currently implemented
protocols).
