Hello Kevin!No, those weren't general terminal commands. Those only works with screen, otherwise fully kown as GNU screen. It's a text based window manager, enables you to run several program on one tty. It can come in handy, when you are allowed to log on a remote system only once. Otherwise seful for issues discussed or simply writing a script, that calls seve4ral programs and wants them to continue running in the background, without being really put there. I used that for my JACk+ALSA+MIDI+clock script.
