Hello all,
Can't believe it. Amazon Assistant is back on my computer. I will call
Oracle tomorrow. This afternoon JAWS stopped talking and I had to get my
neighbour to check what the screen said. She said there was a message that
there was an error with the start up menu and Windows was in the process of
auto repair. She came again a bit later and said there was a message to
reboot the computer. I did this and all was working fine. Now, as I was
about to shut down for the night, here is that creepy Amazon Assistant
back. Removing it from programs and features did not work Deleting it from
the registry did not work.Uninstalling Java did not work. This is an
invasive application.
