The printer quit printing today so I downloaded a utility from Epson
to reset the printer to think it has new ink pads. I then called
Epson for the nearest service center and it is in Mississauga, phoned
them and got a price on the pad replacement. $30 for parts an $75 for
labour, more reasonable than some Internet sources suggested. So I
will be dropping it off for service on Friday.
