Well, $25 is an excellent deal if you're not ready to take the plunge towards 10.2 and simply want to experiment (he's obviously trying to sell it to offset his purchase of 10.2 ;). Otherwise, save yourself the $25 and bite the bullet and buy 10.2 (10.2 is a marked improvement over 10.1 from what I understand, and I imagine that updates will improve stability even more). 10.2 is ~$190 if you're a private individual. ~$130 if you're an university-affiliated individual and maybe even less if you get bulk licences. If he's selling only the 10.1 update CD, it's *worthless* (unless you're able to burn CDs and edit disk images) since the 10.1 update CD requires that you have 10.0 installed. But, I thought you said he was selling two CDs which means he'll have 10.0 and 10.1 update. PS What computer do you have? You *cannot* run OS X well if you do not have a true G3/G4, and, I would recommend at least a 350-400 MHz for satisfactory speeds (i.e. anything less and you'll probably want to buy the $25 version). PSS That's a pretty good price... I haven't looked on e-bay but I imagine that it's selling for more than $25 there! Eric.
