The klatch was certainly a success from my point of view, consisting
of Doug Rogers showing up at the downtown Williams' Coffee Pub and
walking me through a few iPad-to-iMac basics. I still have a lot to
learn about the gizmo, and I suspect more than a few members have
either acquired one over the summer or are contemplating springing for
one soon. We've already had a session on how the things behave on
their own, but once past that, there's probably going to be
significant interest in how they work with the Macs we already have.
Personally, I want to learn more about the possibilities of wireless
interaction between them, wireless printing from them, and ways around
their lack of Flash, with a view to minimizing Marion's need to
commandeer my laptop in order to accomplish something she's begun to
atempt on her iPad.
