I was just helping someone with a Mail.app problem. Yesterday, the person's Mail.app was working fine. Today, when the computer was turned on, Mail. app would not send or receive mail. The account used was not even listed in the accounts, only MobileMe, which is not activated. The person is sure that nothing was done to delete the account that had been set up (with a cable co). The mailboxes for that account were still in the ~/Library/Mail folder. Adding the previously available account to the 'Accounts' list restored the Mail.app functionality (thank goodness for screen sharing), and importing the mail from the previous/missing account restored all the messages. My question is: Other than deleting that previously existing mail account, is there any other way that the mail account settings would/could be deleted?--- Manage your account options at //www.freelists.org/list/muglo
