Could be your ISP's post-office isn't sending out-bound messages for whatever reason... they could all be hung on a crash of the out-bound server. Send the message again and add your own address to the dist list and see if you get it. Also check your dist lists for "@home" addresses they need to be changed to @Rogers". Also, go into the dist list and check to make sure that all the "@"s and "."s are where they're supposed to be... goofier things have happened. Finally, if you're using a pop or imap server, check your smtp server settings to make sure they're still intact, or fear, of fears, maybe you've picked up a virus.... -----Original Message----- From: muglo-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:muglo-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Kathryn-Jane Hazel Sent: March 22, 2002 17:21 To: MUGLO Subject: [muglo] E-mail problem Dear Muglo Folks: I have a really bizarre e-mail problem that I don't know how to fix. As you may know, I'm the media rep and health campaigner for the Council of Canadians. In that role, I have been organizing arrangements for the talk by Maude Barlow on health care at the London Convention Centre Wednesday, April 3, 7:30 pm. Last Friday I sent out an e-mail message to our Steering Committee members and health care campaigners listing tasks that needed to be done for her visit. I didn't get any reply, which struck me as strange, so I sent it out again Tuesday. Still no reply from anyone. So, I sent it out again Thursday - no replies. I also sent out another e-mail to do with the set-up of the venue to my steering committee. No-one got that one, either. I called up some of the people on my list, and they said they never got it. One suggested I create a new message, type in all the e-mail addresses again, then cut-and-paste the text of the earlier message, and try that. I did - and still no-one received it. I have sent e-mail to all these people dozens of times. All my other e-mails are getting through. It is only the ones to do with the specific planning for this event and to my steering committee, all of whom I have mailed hundreds of times before with no trouble. What is going on? What technical problem could cause this? Any advice or explanation would be gratefully received.
