Haven’t a clue what to suggest myself, Wayne, but I’ve got a son-in-law who’s
a certified Apple tech (ex Mac Outpost) and has just launched a new repair
service (with our old friend Larry Hill, who’s been in Macs since Macs have
been in London). He does on-site and in-home diagnosis and repairs as well, as
well as refurbishing machines with more than the usual number of miles on the
odometer. His name’s Noah Austin, the service is called Repear, and I’ve yet to
encounter a problem he couldn’t fix. The phone number is 519-281-6425 and he
answers calls 24/7. You can also get him by e-mail at noah@xxxxxxxxx

My mouse froze along with my keyboard on my iMac. All of the traditional
fixes are not available as the keyboard is not available. Short of
replacing the HD, any ideas?
