The degree symbol is actually 0176. It should work fine in 97. Don't omit the zero, by the way. ------------------------------------ GR Business Process Solutions Ray Blake Head of Software Design ray@xxxxxxxxx Braedon Newell Road Hemel Hempstead Herts HP3 9PD tel: 01442 396518 fax: 01442 389353 www.grbps.com ------------------------------------ -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Donna Sent: 18 August 2004 15:25 To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Re: symbol codes When I do that it looks like different symbols other than the ones that should be shown are showing instead. I hold Alt + 61616 and it looks like a shadow box appears. I hold Alt + 61623 (which should be a bullet) and another symbol appears. I'm using Word 97 so maybe that is why its not working correctly? ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
