[mso] problem with PowerPoint 2003 document

I created a slide show using PowerPoint 2003 on my library's computer.
I emailed the slide show to my gmail account. Then I downloaded from
Microsoft the PowerPoint Viewer.
I am able to view the slide show (on my pc) if I download the slide show. If
I simply "view as slide show" directly from the gmail attachment, it skips
every third slide.
My problem is that I want to send this slide show to many people, which
means that there will be all kinds of systems to viewing the show. Is there
a program that I can transfer my PowerPoint presentation to that will be
readable by every (or nearly every) computer?
Thanks,
Mark
