You can also create an Out of Office Assistant (OOA) in Outlook  Express 
(sorry for the incursion outside of MSO Linda) following Dian's  guidelines. 
Just 
make sure that you file the OOA template as a txt file and not  an eml file, 
and it can be filed anywhere (Outlook express doesn't support oft  files, as 
far as I can tell.
