[mso] opening files in different version of Publisher

I hope someone out there can please help! I have Publisher
2000. 2 people sent me Publisher files that I could not
open. When my Publisher launched, it then says, Publisher
cannot open files from another version. This has not
happened to me before. I asked one of them to Save As
Publisher 2000 doc and I still could not open it. Is there
anything I can do to open these files? It is very
important!!
