[mso] Re: mso Digest V8 #99

I have Googled this problem and and found that it is it is widespread, but
could not find a clear remedy. Microsoft's web site doesn't even mention
the problem.

Lenovo is the brand of computer.

I am the only user of the computer. I am the administrator by default. The
"guest" user is turned off.

But -- in Word, when I look at the properties of a document and click on
"security," it shows three separate user accounts: system, Lenovo, and Mike.
I am signed on as Mike (the administrator).

My thinking is that this problem is caused by some feature in Vista, not in
Word. I turned off Vista's UAC function yesterday and will wait to see if
that solves the problem. Any other ideas would be most welcome.

FYI, my version of Word 2000 has a key code that the user is required to
enter before the software can be loaded. The trial version of Word 2007 was
preloaded on my computer and was good for 60 days -- it only required
activation after that timeframe if I wanted to keep it.

Mike
