They are in the header layer. Open this and see. The graphic behind
the text may show up but then when I close out of word and come back in
its not there. The text is the only thing that shows up. The triangle
and line disappear.

What view? Print layout or normal?
BTW, before the list owner jumps on you, the rules say you need to start
a new subject with a new mail, not replying to another, even if you
change the subject. There's also a rule about trimming the thread

Ok I need some help here. I have a document that has some graphics
underneath some text. When I open it up the graphics do not show up
just the text. If I click on view toolbars and select drawings...the
graphics show up. I then save it and re-open it....and the graphics are
gone again. Its really frustrating....is this a formatting problem?
