Hey Anne...

There are a couple of ways to do this, depending on your skill level. You
could simply wrap a bookmark around the initial info and then have that
pulled into different locations, or you can use a simple inputbox to capture
the info and pass that to each location, or you can create a custom dialog
box and pass the info to each spot or even just use form fields.

So start with this article and see if this does what you want:

Pass Repeated Information in a Word Document
http://www.computorcompanion.com/LPMArticle.asp?ID=224

If that doesn't do the trick for you, you can check out the other forms
article here: http://www.mousetrax.com/techpage.html#autoforms, but you
might also want to then post in my Word VBA group, which handles forms and
coding issues like this. Since everyone there is doing this type of stuff,
you might get more suggestions about the best way to handle your issue once
you explain what you need to do to the group.

Good luck...

Subject: [mso] Word form fields question

This may be one for Dian!!!
I need to create a template that will send the same info request to four
separate destinations. The info would be like this:

Fax to: (fax number)
Company: (company name)

Please provide a price for product A based on these variables:

A (name)
B (address)
C (date of birth)
etc etc

The variables would all refer to the same info, and the destination info
(company name and fax no) would be for the same companies on each occasion.
What I need is a way to enter the variables A B C etc only once but have the
info appear on each of the request sheets. I'm used to ASK and FILLIN
fields but I don't know what to use to replicate the info several times in
one document.

Help please?

TIA

Anne
