Hi All. I have a field in Excel that may have multiple values in it. I would like to do a Word merge and only select the first value where there is more than one. How can this be done? For example Field Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis Pre-Law, Crew, Football Pre-Law, Tennis, Math Tennis Desired Value Football Pre-Law Pre-Law Tennis A bonus would be if there was a way to sort alphabetically the values in the field then pick the first value. Desired Value Football Crew Math Tennis ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
