Before I wrote a macro to automatically name Word 97 and 2002 files the first time I save them I used one naming convention, then another. Now I would like to change hundreds of old files to comply with my new standard. (Luckily I didn't do likewise in Excel or Access!) Is there any simple way (macro, VBA script, or available freeware) anyone could suggest to do this job? TIA Paul -------------------- Paul R. Darnell, D.Min.
