Solved!

It was a macro file in Winfax that caused the problem...

Plan "B" work-a-round is to bypass the winfax/Word conflict by downloading
the free Adobe Reader 6.0, from the adobe.com site if you don't already
have it. Once you open any adobe document you can do a one time sign up
under File/PrintMe Internet Printing that will allow you to set up a free
account for faxing documents to any fax number. It installs a printer
called 'PrintMe' like an Adobe printer choice, and when you print from any
windows program, including Word, and choose the 'PrintMe' printer, you can
fax your document directly from your desktop program. Also sends a fax
confirmation or error message (if applicable) to the email inbox set up in
your registration. This is a send only solution, no faxes received via
this method.

I have MS Word 2000 and Winfax Pro 10.

Word cannot open and gives an error and needs to close.
I uninstalled my Winfax and my word program works perfect.

Anyone experienced this problem before and how may I correct this?

I need both because I am job hunting and need to write up resumes on word
and faxing
them to employers.

Many Thanks In Advance...
TimR
