Ok, update please. I partially answered my own inquiry. I can use
conditional formatting to make the field not visible if empty, and blazing
red field background if not empty. I did not see a way to use blinking
characters if the field is not empty however.

BUT, for some reason when I enter info in that field, later erase it, that
field is no longer accessible again. I mean tabbing will not reach it
anymore. While this is a step in the right direction, she still prefers the
attention grabbing blinking font. Possible?
