Open the document and go to the File menu and choose Save As .... In the
dropdown at the bottom that says Save As Type, choose Word *.doc ... It
sounds like someone has saved it in the past as a Word 97 doc type and you
don't want that.

Subject: [mso] Some of the features in this document arn't supported by
Micosoft Word 97.

Hello Group,
I get this message when I save a Word document.

"Some of the features in this document aren't supported by Microsoft Word
97."

I want it to be a Word 2002 document.

I checked about and it says I have 2002 SP3
