Oh, wait. I just checked the log I kept when I was setting up my then-new
computer. Turns out I had to do a partial re-install from the OfficeXP Cd
to get the Shortcut Toolbar (and Photo Editor, BTW).

I have OfficeXP Pro, and I have the shortcut bar. My Office is about 10
months old, but I seem to remember that it didn't load automatically. I
had to find it and put it on the Desktop and set it to Autohide. Have you
looked in Microsoft Office Tools? (Start --> All Programs --> Microsoft
Office Tools.)
