Hi Alan...James La Borde wrote a three-part series for my newsletter about
automating reports in Access...I know there's stuff in there about printing,
but VBA is not my strongpoint (or even my weakpoint LOL) so I don't know if
the code you are looking for is there, but you can probably see quickly if
this applies to you...here's the list of James's articles...the three about
automating reports are near the bottom:

Subject: [mso] PrintToFile in Access 2000

Hello,

I am trying to create a report that includes a large number of
photographs (>1000, 12 per page). Due to the size of the report I have
to create a single page at a time and print it then go to the next page.
I can create the files by sitting and typing in the filename etc in to
the print dialog box.

In Excel the PrintOut action has a parameter PrintToFilename and the
associated one PrtFilename. I can not find a similar parameter in the
Access PrintOut action.

Is there another way of automatically printing to file and seting the
filename in VBA code?

Thanks,

Alan.
