Microsoft Office 2000

When someone emails a PowerPoint file with an embedded Excel file --
is there any way to "extract" the Excel file and save it to your
desktop? I can copy sections of the Excel, but I'd like to be able
to save the entire workbook. Is that possible?

Thanks.
