Oh okay I do know how to do that.  I was hoping that  maybe there was an
automatic way to do this because I will have to do this daily.  Since
this is the only way I will start doing it that way, it still saves me
time since I have to keep track of about 9 different sheets with doing
this type of process just different info.

OK. Select any cell and from the data menu pick 'Autofilter'. You'' see
little arows appear on your column headings. Click on the arrow for the
heading for column C - your year heading, I imagine - and you'll see a
list of all the entries. Select one of your years and the data will just
show items for that year. Copy and paste these rows to your new sheet.
Then repeat for the two other years.

I do not know about the filtering system.
I am basically trying to look into a document if in column C there is a
date that matches the date (as in YEAR ONLY)then I want that row of info
of that cell to go into this document........
