I've had this problem occasionally where a folder appears only to contain read mail items yet the folder list shows up that there is new mail. If I change the view settings to *unread mail* then I can see the new items, but not on any other view setting. I've just learned to live with it. :( Anne -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Linda F. My Outlook 2003 has refused to recognize, or at least to report, the arrival of new emails. Rather -- if it is receiving them (and the bottom of the window reports that it is receiving posts) it is putting them somewhere I know not. (It does seem to send OK -- if you're reading this, send works <g>). On the theory that my PSTs had grown too large, I hived off a bunch of folders from Personal Folders/Inbox into separate PSTs and deleted a lot of what had accumulated in PF/I. But I'm still not able to find the email I am supposedly receiving. Indeed, I just sent myself an email with return receipt requested, and no sign of it (not even the popup asking if I want to acknowledge receipt) has appeared. So I have taken to closing Outlook and running OE6, and exporting from there (which I have done successfully under other circumstances). Half of that process works -- receiving and exporting. But the exported posts do not show up in Outlook (although earlier, not long after this problem arose, one set of exports actually did visibly arrive). Suggestions? Michael E.
