But the users can add to the Public Folder company contacts -- they all
do it all the time. We are talking about an organization with 6
employees so it's not a huge operation. What is in the "Global Address
Book"? Is that different from a Public Folder?

Ugh, as I re-read this I realize I've left the realm of MS Office, so I
better find an Exchange group! Thanks anyway Linda!

Users cannot add anything to the Global Address Book that resides on the
Exchange Server. The only one who can do that is the Exchange Server
Administrator. The only place users can add contacts is their personal
address books.

Imagine if a company let all it's employees add any address they wanted
to
the Company's Address Book?=20

Subject: [mso] Outlook XP on Exchange Server

I have a client who is running Outlook 2002 on Windows XP, on an
Exchange 2000 Server. They are using a public folder for the company
contacts. The client would like to be able to right-click on an email
address and add it to the Company Contacts, but when she selects that
option, the address goes into her personal contacts folder. Is there a
way to redirect that operation to a public folder?

Thanks,
Elise
