I think I missed something.... "if you attach to your Outlook email file
from Access " You mean MS Access?? I went to Field Choicer and found
Conversion, And that kind of works.... but I don't see Normalized Subject.

April,

If you attach to your Outlook email file from Access you will see two fields
for Subject. Subject and Normalized Subject. Normalized Subject has
removed the RE: and FWD: for you on all of them. You should be able to find
that to sort by.

If you open your Customize Current View folder, you can select Subject to
sort by and sort order will be Normalized Subject by default.

Does anybody know of a way or of an add-in that I can use to take the "re:"
out of messages?? I belong to several list groups and would like to be able
to group messages by subject line... the problem is as I'm sure you know
"[mso] Outlook Question" and "re: [mso] Outlook question" ends up being in
two different threads/ message groups and if I could automatically take out
the "re:" then the messages would be group together.

Any ideas??

April
