My pst file is pretty huge and I did find that doing a defrag made Outlook respond considerably quicker. In fact I defragged three times and then set up to automatically do it twice a week. Has helped response a good deal. While on the topic, is there any limit to the size a pst file can be? I know if my machine would handle the Business Outlook Add-In that uses SQL Server to store everything, would probably no problem about size. And when get new machine will go to that. But tried it and it really bogged down current hardware.
