InfoPath is the new stand alone XML Forms program for data
gathering/sharing. It's like Word AutoForms on steroids.

You can read all about it if you go to http://office.microsoft.com and click
on InfoPath along the left menu choices, under Programs.

InfoPath is part of the "Office Family of Applications," but it is one of
the stand alones that you'd have to purchase separate if you wanted it. See
the URL below for a comparison and info on each app in the "family."

No...neither are part of the "Suite" itself.

Beta testing means you are testing a "working" version of the product that
is still under bug testing development...not finished yet. The eval version
is a working version of whatever products they include so you can check it
out...the "final" version as it will be released. But the eval will "time
out" on you after a few months.

You can read more about the Evals and what you can try and for how long,

Subject: [mso] Office 2003 Evaluation

Hey guys,
I just got notice I can get Office 2003 Evaluation kits if I order now at
the end of October. I don't really know what that means, but whatever,
let's try it out, eh?

Now, you beta tester people, what is InfoPath? If I get the Office 2003
suite, do I get that and Frontpage too? What is evaluation and how does it
differ from beta testing?

Kathie
who actually used the right account!
