[mso] Office 2000 - Powerpoint inquiry

Hello all.
I downloaded a PowerPoint presentation, checked it with Trend Micro, and
Ad-aware, and it passed both.
However, for some reason, ever since I download that presentation, every so
often this message comes up even with PowerPoint NOT open:
This PowerPoint presentation has an error. Please close the Presentation and
PowerPoint.
Open PowerPoint again to open the Presentation correctly.
Well, when I open PowerPoint, then open this presentation, all is well. All
runs fine. When I close the presentation, and close PowerPoint, the message
appears, I would say about 17 minutes (estimated) apart. Is it a virus even
though Trend Micro says no? I am not sure what to do to kill it. I tried
saving the presentation file to a CD, and removing the file from the hard
drive- but that message still appears- suggesting to me something else is
wrong. Yes, I have updated Trend Micro.
The presentation is very graphical. Could one of the graphics be the
problem, rather than the presentation itself?
Whatever the cause, how is it corrected? I would prefer keeping the
presentation if possible. I don't mind cleaning, fixing it, etc., once I
know how.
