Robert, This isn't a problem. Well, it is, but not a virus or spy-spam or anything. Someone is using Outlook's 'Out of Office' facility. This allows a user to set up an automatic response such as the one you saw to any mail received over the exchange server during a period of absence. Ideally, if you're setting one of these up, you need to turn off you mailing list mail while you're away. This list offers such a facility. Dian's ezine had an article recently by Linda Johnson on how to simulate this facility without Exchange Server: http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMArticle.asp?ID=127 Ray Blake _____________ This email is from Ray Blake, Head of Software Design, GR Business Process Solutions. I have sent two email inquiries, both resulted in an email that said: ------------------ I will be out of the office from August 25th returning Monday, September 8th. If you have any issues, please contact Dave Carroll, Bill Curlew or Michele Shute ---------------------- This sounds like a variation of the Zollo problem we had recently. I wasn't sure if there was a problem with the service or if someone was playing. Thank you.
