In Word, Tools/Options/Security/Macro Security then choose the options you want. /gl -----Original Message----- From: Higley, T.J. She's suddenly started getting error messages every time she launches Word or Outlook or opens an email message. Word is her email editor. Here's the message: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office Contains macros by Adobe System Inc. Macros may contain viruses. It is always safe to disable macros, but if the macros are legitimate, you might lose some functionality. The security level is set to High. Therefore, you cannot enable macros from sources that you do not trust. If she clicks Enable Macros, Outlook proceeds to open the message. But she gets another, very similar message referencing the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Startup\Palmapp.dot. Are there macro options somewhere within Word that might be causing her problem? I've checked her IE Internet settings (accessed thru control panel or thru Outlook) and all zones are set to default. I've verified that all zone settings are similar to a PC which is not having problems. Any ideas? tj TJ Higley Customer Support Specialist Taylor University - Upland, IN (765) 998-4044 ************************************************************* PLEASE READ!!!!
