Hi folks...

Pardon the OT, but I have to ask. (Linda...pls forgive me, but I included
your group, too! I owe you all one!<wink>) DO NOT REPLY TO THIS
EMAIL...EMAIL ME DIRECTLY!

I'm leading a charge for MissingYouFoundation.org to get their web site back
online. They originally had a guy volunteer to do their site, but once it
was barely online, he held it hostage for big money. When they couldn't
pay...which had never been the plan...he pulled the plug on the site.

Now they are trying to get the site going again, but we have a lot of work
to do to revamp the site since we can't use any of his previous work. This
is a national missing person's database site.

If you have a little time and wouldn't mind helping out via online support
in various areas, please email me directly at dianATmousetrax.com with
MISSING in the subject line.

We will be needing help from folks with the following talents...

NOTE: The MOST IMPORTANT qualities for all below are: organized, ability to
follow directions, ability to follow through with a task, ability to work
virtually with a team...and ability to deal with me!<g>

* anyone with time to do some documentation grunt work in Word and other
duties such as cross proofing files, data, images, stats, etc or anyone who
is particularly talented with proof reading and/or proofing data.

* anyone with graphics apps (PSP, Photoshop, etc) and skills working with
photos and graphics...for proofing, checking sizes and documenting that
info, possibly enhancements for visual quality and cropping...maybe even
some artistic types who can create nice images/graphics as needed?

* anyone who has Dreamweaver MX or MX/2004 and has a pretty good idea about
how to work with templates and/or layout pages...typing in text, inserting
image files, applying styles, CSS, designing pages, creating forms, and
documenting what they've done

* anyone with an eye for sophisticated web design and/or knowledge of web
site design

* anyone who is particularly talented with writing and can help write and or
edit text or proof documentation

* anyone talented in the fields of ASP, ADO, VBS, SQL as it related to
database connectivity on the web

* anyone who understands creating nice Word forms and properly naming form
fields, ActiveX control knowledge a bonus.

* anyone who understands Word forms with Access DB connectivity.

* beta testers, both for checking the web site working abilities and testing
Word AutoForms.

I know there are lots of you out there with these talent, but please only
volunteer if you have a little time to spare and will follow through. I
don't yet know all the work we will require, but we're anxious to get the
site up and going ASAP and there's a lot of organizing and revamping to do,
for which I'm working to figure out and delegate work. There will also be
maintenance and enhancement work for the long run.

Thanks!
